    Window Explorer not seeing NAS

    Hi Guys
Been reading most of the post and nothing works for me.

Yesterday it worked now it does not....

Cannot map the drive cannot see it on windows explorer. I need ALL the steps. Most solutions have only part of the answer.

Is there a step by step. No I have no competent PC people in my small town. The last guy could not install the OS and I had to do it. The guy before broke my SSD...so I am very unhappy....

Hi, this thread is 3 days old and maybe you have resolved this issue?

If not can you advise how you are trying to access the NAS box?
    Via IP or Name

If you try to ping the IP or Name does it reply?

    How to Ping
Click Start >> Type CMD >> Press Enter (or select cmd.exe from the search results)
In the black command window type the following:
    Code:
    ping <ip address here>
    Code:
    ping <name here>
Replace <ip address here> with the IP address (example 192.168.1.110)
Replace <name here> with the Name (example nasbox01)

    Regards,

    Mate

You are the only one who was nice enough to reply..... thank you.

I did manage to get it working. The Wi-Fi (that was working) I could not get to go, so I have 30m of cable and it works. Not sure what I did....

Computers... if they were a car they would be banned.

    Thanks mate
