How can I block EVERYTHING from connecting into internet

yeah, that is the question pretty much...

I dont connect to internet ever in my windows side of my computer cause it is dedicated to Audio only...

...But.. I want to be able to connect sometimes, I dont want any program to access internet, ... ANY...
I just want to be able to enable internet, grab audio from youtube and then disable internet, .. Call me paranoid... but that is my workflow, ..

Can anybody tell if there is such thing like blocking everything from connecting to internet except my firefox browser??

    Thanks a lot people

Open, Windows Firewall with Advance Security. Click on Windows Firewall Properties. Go though the Profile tabs changing "Outbound Connections:" to "Block" on all profiles. Then you just need to add an exception to the outbound rules allowing firefox.

If you seldom use the internet just unplug your modem until you need it again.

Are you sure this will completely block any audio programs and plugins from calling home, .. even those which call home for updates, license verifications and all??

    Thanks a lot

I find ZoneAlarm Free Firewall much, much easier to use than Win 7's firewall to keep anything I don't want phoning home from phoning home. It can be used to block incoming transmissions as well.

I feel Layback Bear had the best suggestion if you have another computer to download your music with. Just permanently disconnect the computer from the internet so nothing can get in or out. Use the other computer to download music and transfer the music from the other computer to your music rig.

I may be "off" here but it seems to me that you are trying to make sure you HACKED Audio program does not get caught(FL Studio?).

Yes, except for any exceptions you add into the outbound rules.
