My network adaptor has disappeared after Win 7 32 bit install

    Hi,

    I was running Vista before.

I've installed Win7 on a formatted drive and my internet connection is gone.

The Network adaptor along with -

    PCI Simple Comm Cont
    Sm Bus Cont
    Univ Serial Bus (USB) Cont

    Have all yellow warning symbols.

I cant run a utility as they seem to need a network connection.

I've searched for a LAn driver for my Gigabyte H67N-USB3-B3 motherboard.

I've tried unpluggin it from the mains overnight.

I've tried changing the power saving settings.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .... Install the Chipset Driver from the Link below ...

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-H67N-USB3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

The Lan Driver is in that Link also ... I take it the problem is the Lan connection does not show in the Device Manager ?

Have you checked in the BIOS to see if it is Enabled ?

Thanks so much for a quick response.

You are correct, I can't see the LAn connection in device manager.

I think I just enabled the WOL in bios. I enabled something called erp support.

I'm going to try your links and install that.

    I installed -

    Intel INF installation

    &

    Realtek LAN Driver

I had installed that driver before. It now shows as a network adapter in device manager, but when I go to create a connection it states it cannot find hardware.

I still have these with yellow warnings-

    PCI Simple Comm Cont
    &
    Univ Serial Bus (USB) Cont

The Sm Bus Cont is not showing with a yellow flag.

I checked the Realtek and it shows as "no clonflicts".

In details tab for PCI Simple Comm Cont it states-

Property and then a drop down with Device description

Value and in the window below PCI Simple Communication Controller

    &

In details tab for Univ Serial Bus (USB) Cont it just states-

Property and then a drop down with Device description

Value and in the window below Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

    Nothing else.
