Resetting sequence , router on first , then modem and computer?

    Resetting sequence , router on first , then modem and computer?


    I read somewhere on here that there is a sequence to resetting these , can someone tell me the right order?

    yes; to reset these; unplug both of them; does not really matter what order for that; then wait about a minute or so; then plug the modem back in and let that fully boot; then plug the router in and let that fully boot and you should be good to go at that point. If not post back and we can take it from there.

    Thank you , so you can leave the computer on, no need to turn that off as well .
