    Solution found

It seems Win 7 doesn't like sharing printers with Vista PC's . The solution of setting the printer as a local printer on the remote PC's works brilliantly if you have XP or Win 7 but Vista won't work.
So I bit the bullet and installed Win 7 on my other Laptop now all my PC's can share my printer.
It would be nice if MS could address this problem (there seem to be numerous unanswered threads on this) but I suppose they want everyone on Win7. (not that its not a good idea, but it can get quite pricey with multiple PC's

    Peter, you are the MAN!!!

    Thanks 2 3/4 tons, Peter!!!!

I was beginning to think I would never resolve that issue. I had installed two brand-spanking new screaming SysteMax Core 2 Duo Windows 7 PCs at my wife's work on their W2K network. I could print from every single computer in the building except the one that HAD to be shared for printing.

I had removed and reinstalled the drivers and the printer countless times finagling with every conceivable setting. I scoured the Internet for 2 days trying to resolve the issue.

Everyone was starting to look strangely at me like I didn't know what I was doing .
I was going nuts. It's the EXACT same setup as mine at home with a Vista Ultimate box and an XP box and I have no problems.

Thanks again!! I have found my W7 resource, it would seem!

    Thanks,
    Jack
