Network issues (DNS) failure

    this is all the user options they give you. I'm just wondering if it's not my on bord SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter

    Archangel83, from the error you've posted innitially "DNS Server not responding", and assuming you have allowed auto detect IP setting. the only conclusion i have is your ISP having issue with their DNS Server. AND/OR there might be a problem with your modem.

    If you have Messenger Live, try and log on and see if it can connect. If not, do the Troubleshooting that it has to try and repair your connection. Messenger Live will tell you what issues you have with your intertnet connection.

    Yeah It might be my surfbord modem it's about 5-6 years old and has had some hard abuse. I'm thinking of just haveing my isp give me a free webstar modem the tech that came out and replaced my old SA box with a new one looked at my modem and told me they dont use surfbords anymore that they use webstars as they made changes too their network.
