    setting up private network with static ip address


    hello every one can some one please help me with this.. i have about 10 computers i want to setup private network with static ip add...this is what i have done so far i got the ip add that the router assigns to each computer. than take that ip add and use it as a static ip add.. on the same machine... but on one of them it does not work....am i doing this the right way or this is totally wrong... please help thanks

    I recently posted 2 screenshots of this, maybe they can help. First one is reserving IP in the router. Second alternative is setting a static IP on the computer, outside of the router DHCP interval:

    Windows has detected an IP address conflict

    It's easier to only do this in the router. You want have to go to every machine and change IP settings.
