Ok cool...couple more questions for you...
Step 2 – Backup your user data
Back up your files externally by copying your named User account or active User folders to another HD, external drive, flash stick or disk. Don't forget to export your browser bookmarks first.
What does this mean? I don't think my email is stored on my laptop...and I have to open it up thru a browser...
If your email is stored on computer, Google how to back up mail and account settings to get solutions like How do I import and export email, contacts, and calendars with Windows Live Mail? - Microsoft Windows Help.
What is Quickbooks? And I uninstalled iTunes awhile ago...
Backup Quickbooks 2010+ Company files from User/Public/Documents, google your version's file location, or run a QB backup, De-authorize I-Tunes.
I don't think this concerns me?
For unbootable Windows copy data out externally using the Windows 7 disk to Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console, free Paragon rescue disk or a Linux boot disk.
Does this include the newest version of MSOffice2013 my daughter installed it a few days ago. She got it from her school with the Product Key and was able to use it on 5 PC's...mine was the 2nd:)
Run and print an audit of hardware and software including installed Product Keys using Belarc Advisor. This audit assures you won't lose any other paid software keys like Office.
Regarding backup you have already told me there is nothing you want to keep .. Your email who do you use for that ?
As for Office you can Install that again ..
I use 4 different emails...yahoo gmail outlook and icloud...as for all the programs like Malwarebytes and Panda etc...I'm just going to download them after it's up and running again...so the only things I'm actually putting on my memory stick are my pics/documents and music if there is any and I don't think there is...I don't think there's much in my documents either...lol
No they are saved on your Computer as Data Files .. Read below ...
