Reformatted Windows // Can't connect to wifi or via ethernet

    Hi,

So I decided to reformat my Toshiba laptop today, I download the Windows 7 Home Premiumm x64 bit ISO file from here: ( I didn't upgrade, just a reformat as the laptop was getting clouded in rubbish )

    Download Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO ( 32bit / 64bit ) from Microsoft

Booted from USB, installation went went as expected.

After completion, I can't find any networks, it doesn't find any Wifi networks and even when I connect Ethernet cable from the router it doesn't detect it at all.

Now, before reformatting both wifi and ethernet worked without problems and right now both wifi and that ethernet work with my desktop. Because of that I can only guess it might be drivers missing so laptop can't find the networks? But I am bit lost in which are missing, if that is the problem at all. The laptops name is Toshiba Sattelite. Here is the screen from the network panel:

    Any help possible?

Thanks in advance and Kind Regards.

Look in Change Adapter Settings, is your wifi adapter listed and enabled? If you see it and is enabled, try the troubleshooter...

Thanks :) Where can you find Change Adapter Settings?

Btw though, I may have found ''the'' problem. I went into device manager and found this, the yellow icon says the drivers are not installed I guess that would be the reason for it not connecting at all then!

What to do now though and how to find the needed drivers above for this laptop ?

    Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L855

    Thanks in advance.
    King Regards.

Look in the device manager to see what your adapter is... Realtek, Atheros or both, some have separate wifi... by original I mean not the driver offered by Microsoft in optional updates...

Ok, so the supplied driver available for your model is most likely the Realtek Lan driver and the Atheros wifi, look under your models specifications at Toshiba. Your list shows two different brands were used for wifi, your build number would specify which was used in your machine.

Found the Realtek Lan Driver, is Atheros wifi the second in the box?

If so, I'll begin download and putting on usb.

P.S. I'll move this to appropriate forum sub tread, since it's about drivers now I guess.
