Unable to connect to Computer Management and Performance Monitor

Hello, I am wanting to setup and connect remotely to Computer Management and Performance Monitor. I want to be able to do this as it will make my life easier in changing some settings as well as monitoring the computer.
However, no matter what I try and do I am unable to connect to the other machine.

Performance Monitor: When I try to connect to the other machine, I get the error "Unable to connect to machine" I have made sure that the correct firewall settings are in place, as well as adding the user to the Performance Monitor Users and Performance Log Users

Computer Management: I get this error "Event Viewer could cannot connect to "CHLOE-PC". The Error reported is: The RPC Server is unavailable"

What's the DNS setup as? Are you trying to connect via IP address or host name?

    I'm sorry, I don't follow you.

Also I didn't make it clear that I am connecting \\CHLOE-PC

Well a computer cannot just simply connect to ""\\CHLOE-PC" much like how your phone cannot literally dial "Bob". It needs to translate this to an IP address.

This is done by DNS. Unless there is a DNS entry this process would fail and therefore be one of the reasons why you may not be able to connect to the device.

    Hope This Helps,
    Josh :)

Well first try and connect to the device via IP address and then we can work on the DNS after.

On CHLOE-PC run ipconfig /all from a command prompt and post the output here.

Then you can try an initiate a connection to the IP address of that machine.

    For example, rather than \\CHLOE-PC try \\{IP_ADDRESS}

Hmm... I'd then begin to look at potential firewall issues.

Have checked that WMI and Windows Remote Management is allowed through for private network connections? (Also verifying that your connection is set to "Home" or "Work")

Good news! I have fixed Computer Management, I just needed to login as admin.
With computer management, I am unable to access Logical Disk Manager and Services
I am also unable to remotely create tasks, as it tells me "The specified account name is not valid"
However, Performance Monitor still gives me "Unable to connect to machine"
