    Internet Connection Timeout, across all browsers

    Good afternoon,

    For the past week I've been having internet connection problems on my Asus laptop. This happens only on my laptop, not my tablets, phone, PS4, Xbox or anything else. I usually use Chrome for browsing, but have tested this error across all browsers (Firefox, IE) with the same results;

    Chrome - Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
    Firefox - The connection has timed out
    IE - This page can’t be displayed

    While I have a very fast internet connection (23Mbps download, 2.13Mbps upload), browsing the internet has become next to impossible with webpages timing out, hitting refresh, page loading half way, hitting refresh again, getting a connection time out and going around in circles... About 90% of my browsing involves this scenario; sometimes it doesn't happen on the first try, but it WILL happen within a couple minutes of browsing.

    Things I've tried;

    -restart router
    -restart computer
    -apply all windows updates
    -ipconfig /flushdns
    -ipconfig /release
    -ipconfig /renew
    -netsh winsock reset catalog
    -netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
    -netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
    -checked proxy settings
    -remove unused browser add-ons
    -completed virus/malware scans to detect any viruses
    -cleared browsing data, temporary internet files and cookies
    -plugged in ethernet cable
    -turned off anti-virus programs
    -CMD prompt, ping google.com

    Needless to say I'm going out of my mind trying to fix this. It came out of nowhere. Any help would be appreciated!

    Computer specs;

    Windows 7
    65-bit operating system
    Intel (R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

    How's your browsing experience when you are logged on to Safe Mode with Networking (restart your computer, continue tapping F8 then select this option)?

    Also, please try creating a new User Account and see if you can replicate the issue. Try both wired and wireless connections.

    -turned off anti-virus programs

    Don't know if it's a typo or not, but if you have more than one anti-virus product installed that might cause problems
