IE8 RC1 for Windows 7
Is this ever going to be made available? I heard there won't be any more Windows 7 builds until the Release Candidate, will we have to wait until then?

Yeah, it will most likely be in the Win7 RC. Maybe by April or around there. You can't install the IE8 RC1 in the 7000 Build.

Hmm, so if it is not possible to install IE 8 rc in windows 7. Then what happens when the IE 8 pre-installed version that comes in windows 7 is corrupted or damaged?
I was push the envelope last night this morning oc'ing my cpu, seems as if the 32bit IE just hangs now? The 64bit version is intact, only thing about that one, whilst much faster adobe flash does not work on 64bit browzer other than linux or ubantu.
So, I already have near 200gb on my raid0 which shares the windows7 os. Can say that I am up for doing any kind of fresh os installs as my back up drive is 80gb....somewhere along the way after installing w7 I went from 60ish gb to where it is now
There must be some way to repair the 32bit internet explorer without having to use the restore point feature no?
You can reset it, may just be a coincidence next to your other problems. You can run SFC to attempt to repair missing/corrupted system files. You could also do a repair install, it keeps all your files/settings although it reverts a few minor settings back to normal.
Internet Explorer - Reset
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Repair Install
Since it won't come for Windows 7, yet I still want to test it how should I go about doing it? Should I put Vista business in virtual PC and try it there? Is there a better way?
It's in the just leaked 7022 build if you wanted to download the torrent. The 7022 is 32 bit at the moment.
Or you could wait until they leak the 64 bit of 7022, or wait till M$ releases the the 7 RC.
