Assistance with Media streaming via Netgear NAS drive

    Hi Everyone

    I've got a Netgear RN10200 and using a Trendnet AC TEW-812DRU router that's connected to a TP-Link modem.

My pc is connected wirelessly to the AC router, also my XBOX 360. The Naz Drive is connected via Gigabit ethernet.

I Use TVersit on the desktop to stream media to my Xbox 360, but for some reason forwarding movies is really slow and does get stuck quite often. Also, movies/series would just get stuck while we're busy watching.

Now, over the past few days, for some reason the TV would just go black for no reason. You can see it's looking for a connection from HDMI, but can't find anything. If I pull the HDMI cable out and plug it back in again, you can see clearly again.

TV is a Sony 46" FHD LCD panel.

I don't know what else to do now?

UPDATE: I decided to try and draw up my setup like this...

TP Link TD-W8961ND Modem router connected to the internet
TrendNet TEW-812DRU AC router connected to TP Link router(uses an ip address on DHCP range of the TP Link router)
NAS Drive connected to gigabit ethernet directly to TrendNet router(uses a ip address on DHCP range of the TrendNet router)
Desktop PC connected via Wifi 2.4GHZ 100mb/s to the TrendNet router(uses a ip address on DHCP range of the TrendNet router)
Xbox 360 connected to Wifi 2.4GHZ 100mb/s to the TrendNet router(uses a ip address on DHCP range of the TrendNet router)

I can either use the TVersity software on my desktop to stream the media or I'll need to set up the NAS drive to handle this, but I can't seem to find a propper NAS OS app to stream the media and be able to include the codex.

    Hi Everyone

Has anyone been able to check this out for me yet please?

This weekend was a nightmare!! It seems like it's getting worse now. I tried updating my Tversity from v2.4 Pro to 3.4 free as I'm not going to pay for the new version.

I even tried Windows Media Center, but that's even worse.

I've now also tried streaming the media directly from the NAS drive to my Xbox 360, but most of the video files aren't supported.

For some reason the movies/series just stops or, for instance, I tried streaming a 1080p movie from the PC to the XBOX. It plays fine for around 6-10 minutes, then the voice/music just goes ahead of the actual movie and then gets stuck for around 2 minutes. Then the whole process just repeats itself.
