Why can't I see my Modem
I have a Draytek Vigor 130 modem, but I can't get into it's set-up page again.
I initially had problems getting into it, and after a few factory resets, as well as using a stand alone laptop, got it to connect. It has been going ever since.
I have no problem, apart from above, it is working normally I.E. connects to the internet, EXCEPT I want to change the DNS and a few other settings.
The system is -
phone line to ADSL/phone filter (wired in)
filter O/P to Vigor 130 modem
Vigor 130 O/P to Switch (16 port gigabit, TP-Link TL-SG1016D Ver 4.0 unmanaged
switch to 11devices (all with different IP address.
"ipscan 32" as well as "IPconfig" confirm that the V130 is at 192.168.1.1. I can ping it and it's working
The DHCP server is at 192.168.1.1
The DNS server is at 192.168.1.1
When I go to 192.168.1.1 in either Chrome or IE I get
'This webpage is not available"
Tried connecting the laptop directly to the modem, and got the same result.
Have also tried -
IPconfig / release
IPconfig / renew
IPconfig/ flushdns
Before I try every address in the range, is there any thing else I can do!
