Help! IPV4 IPV6 no network access

    Hi.

I hope I am posting in the correct place, I am a new member.

When I connect to the internet I keep getting the message "no network access"

And when I click properties I see the following:

    IPV4 no network access
    IPV6 no network access
    Media state connected

I am running windows 7 home premium on a dial up connection.

I have had this problem previously but it usually corrects itself in a couple of days. This time I have had the problem for about a week

Anyone know what may be going on?

    AJ

    Problem solved.

After rooting through my system, running numerous security and fix it programs, and spending much time carefully examining diagnostic information, I learned through an acquaintance that he had the same problem, and it was due to the data link with our ISP being down. It would have been nice for the ISP to text its affected members to inform them of this.

    Many thanks for your reply,

    AJ
