Network 2 is not letting me connect to anything

Looking at this thread posted about 4 years ago, I see that I'm not the only one having this problem. I'm trying to fix my parents' desktop computer and it can no longer get on the internet. I have a wired connection and in the network list, there is only the option of Network 2.

I noticed that I'm not the only one having this problem. Hopefully, someone has come up with a solution to this problem

Try changing your DNS servers to the server below

    Secondary DNS: 68.94.157.1

I apologize for the slow response. I changed the Primary and Secondary DNS to the suggested settings to no avail. I get a popup message saying that the Network Diagnostics tried to troubleshoot what the problem could be but the troubleshooter couldn't identify the problem. Is there any other information you need that might help clarify the issue?

    Hi there,

If I may jump in.... just wondering if there are 2 different Routers in the network - you have 192.168.1.X and 192.168.0.X?
    DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254

Thanks for your reply....Please verify that all ethernet cables are plugged in to the correct ports? From the AT&T modem, the ethernet cable has to be plugged in to the router's Internet or WAN port then the other LAN or Ethernet ports are for the computers/printers to be plugged in.

Also, please power cycle the devices by following this Tutorial.
