Hi maxie, Yes can't believe it, as luck would have it I have been away from desktop computer for about 5 days (decorating mothers house) but have been using tablet/mobile phone etc, and wifi has been brilliant, but the hard wired awful, all morning cheesed off with buffering, so this afternoon sitting comfortable at desktop....................I made the call, ready for the termination of my contract, but lo & behold wind taken out of sails by the thinggymejig + reset, seems to have fixed it anyway will give it till Saturday.

There are many suggestions i could make when some one has a slow Wireless Connection ...

In your case it is different though as it seems only to be affecting one Computer ..

So changing some Settings is not really an Option ... How about your Wireless Driver is it up to date ?

    Hi maxie
Doing everything on laptop at the moment.
Scouring youtube for possible solutions, alas I probably haven't entered the correct terminology to get the answer.
I have disabled/uninstalled relevant drivers & updates, to no avail, so at the moment in a quandary!
I'm reluctant to run one of those fix everything bits of software, unless you with all your helpful over 15000 posts have come across some magic software, I can only think of malwarebytes & ccleaner,

Both malwarebytes & ccleaner are good Programs and would do harm doing a Scan ...

Would rule out another possibility ... As for any instant fixes forget about that they never work ...

Will dig around and see what i can find ...

Will be in touch. Thanks for your input.
