Windows 7 network adapter missing - no internet - no wireless !!!

    Hello,
I am a new member on this forum - I am looking for some help.

I have an ACER ASPIRE laptop - with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - the Network adapter is not recognized.
Please help me - I cannot connect using the DSL cable to my router, there is no wireless - it's like I am in the stone age.

I went to device manager in Control Panel, clicked on Network, tried to search for driver on computer - but to no avail.

I also downloaded the driver from the internet, copied on a USB and tried to update, still no luck.

Please, if anyone out there can help, I will be very grateful.

I do not have a Windows 7 CD, although my Windows is a genuine one, pre-installed since 2009 on my laptop. Never had a problem.

I downloaded an ISO file for Windows Home Premium 64 bit but don't know what to do with it, or how to convert it in an actual Windows CD.

I will be grateful for all the help I can get.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi.

Can you give us the exact model number of your laptop? If you're not sure how to check, close the lid and flip it upside down, then check what it says after "Aspire" for example, mine is the Aspire V3-531G).

Also, did you download official drivers from the Acer website? If not, just give us the model, and I'll give you a link to an official driver download.

Thanks for the prompt reply. The model is Acer Aspire AS7560-Sb416 AMD Quad-Core A6-3400M 4GB DDR3 500GB HDD 17.3" Win 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.
I went to Acer to download the drivers - unless I was doing it wrong. That too didn't work.
Please advise how to install the drivers too.

    Thanks a million.

    Download these drivers for Wireless:

Also, try these drivers for LAN if you prefer to connect with a networking cable:
    http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...C=ACER&SC=PA_6

And do the same as last time: copy them on a USB stick, then onto your laptop (wherever you want). Unzip the archive, then right click the .exe file and choose Run as Administrator, then proceed with the installation. Restart the PC even if it doesn't ask you to, then see if you get your wireless back.
