5Ghz compatibile wireless adapter or card

Hi guys, I have just upgraded my internet in the UK, and I can now receive speeds of up to 150mb.
My iPhone is fine and can connect to the 5Ghz network channel but my laptop cannot.

After a bit of looking into it, it seems my wireless card is not compatible, so I either need to change the wireless card within the laptop, or buy a dongle.

I'd rather install one within the laptop if that is possible (hp) or worst case, use a small dongle. The problem is, I really wouldn't want one the size of a normal USB pen, at the very most, one that is very small and cannot break.

Is there any suggestions on what to get? I type in on google but the dongles are all quite big.

    Thanks

I just got this dongle the other day: EDIMAX EW-7811UTC AC600 Dual-band USB 2.0 Wireless Mini Adapter, ideally for upgrading Laptop, desktop, Macbook or Ultrabook with 433/150Mbps data rates - Newegg.com

It's the smallest I could find that supported dual band (2.4 & 5Ghz).

Yeah, this is what I fear.
Although its quite compact, I move around a lot and I know I'd end up breaking it within a week
