    Settings for network

Now this may sound like a daft question but I have wondered for a long time now what to set my network to Home or Public because the wording in the attached pic does not make sense to me as both say do not use in cafes and public places so which should I use?
I was thinking this while setting up a new home wifi modem this afternoon and it sort of got me wondering.

You misread it - Home says don't use for public places, Public says use for public places :)

Mostly has to do with firewall settings and sharing. For example, if you choose Public, Network Discovery is turned off, you can't join a Homegroup, etc.

Yes maybe Doctor I probably it is just it says in the option public
    Code:
this is a public network and is not to be trusted
the only thing I can think of is it is telling that cafes, airports and other public are not trusted and I should use this option?
As you say it is in the writing / text and the way I have perhaps interpreted it:)

Maybe it should read "If you are in a public place and using wifi for the net or email sites where there may be other computers or networks you do not recognize - you should use this option"
