Please update your system specs. The link is in my signature.
Have you installed or removed any applications? Have you installed any Windows updates?
i got the error's, so i uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for both devices and still get the cannot start device error, specs updated
Have you installed any recent Windows updates? Where did you get the drivers for your hardware?
haven't done any windows 7 updates, after loosing connections, i installed drivers from dell website for the internal ethernet, and linksys site for the external card, and nothing, i uninstalled and reinstalled using windows driver update, and nothing
The Dell Latitude D600 only has XP drivers. Did you install XP drivers in compatibility mode? What Linksys model do you own, and did you install Windows 7 drivers for it?
my internal card is a broadcom 570x, i found a windows 7 driver somewhere online for that, and im using the linksys pcm1000, got a driver from there site, it didnt specify if its xp or not
What is the specific error message? Also, are you running a beta, RC, or RTM/retail version of Windows 7? Did you do an in-place upgrade, or was this a clean install? If it was an upgrade, what was the previous OS? Have you installed or removed any applications recently?
running Ultimate RTM, i did a clean install, had xp before tho, in device manager i get the This device cannot start. (Code 10), on both drivers
To clarify: you did a clean install and you haven't added or removed any applications between the time things worked and when things stopped working?
Linksys doesn't provide a Windows 7 driver for that card.
