By the way you guys are great for helping me out. But wish that someone would go remote and fix me up for good. I want to throw these contraptions in the trash they're so frustrating to me now.

Disabling the UltraNav pointing device and using an external mouseIf you attach an external mouse to a USB connector, you can use the external mouse simultaneously with
the TrackPoint pointing device and the touch pad.Disabling the TrackPoint or the touch padTo disable the TrackPoint or the touch pad, do the following:
1. Go to Control Panel and clickHardware and Sound ➙ Mouse ➙ UltraNav.
2. To disable the TrackPoint pointing device, clear the check box for Enable TrackPoint.
To disable the touch pad, clear the check box for Enable TouchPad.
3. Click OK.

Can't find it. The only thing in the Control Panel are meeses.
I still having trouble getting my desktop online.
I need to get this MS crap off my computer and it say I'm offline. My preferred browser is Firefox and I can't get IE to work right. Went w/ Ehow Now still have to MS crap, IE and Bing and Yahoo keeps rearing its ugly head but I have my FF and Google. And if things weren't bad enough I'm fight a cold and I hate snot.
Got a lot of work to do.

It will most likely save you a lot of aggravation.You may be better off taking the PC to a service center and have them download and install the necessary drivers for you. It can get a little involved.
