Recommend a Router?

Hi all,

I am looking to install a new router.
I have around 500 / 1000 devices connected at once to this Router. I currently use a DrayTek though I feel it is struggling.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

My guess would be that the bottleneck is your line and not the router. But this is a good price/performer:

It is a 100/100 fibre line. This is not the sort of router I'm looking for. I believe it would need to be at least business possibly Enterprise.

I would look to Cisco but this level of connectivity is way outside my comfort zone to suggest a model.

Hi there,

I'm a big fan of SonicWall devices, you can't go wrong.....please check these out. From Small, Medium to Large businesses you have options to choose from plus the security feature is awesome.

Also, check out the TZ Series. It has excellent features e.g. - content filtering, intrusion prevention, malware protection, secure mobile access, and other wireless devices.

Can Anyone Recommend a Better Router?
I recently bought a new high-end cable modem to accommodate Time Warner's "extreme" level of service I have (which promises 50mbps down). It's the SURFboard SB6141 (white), and I'm very happy with it's performance. Not so much with my aging router I'm afraid. I have a tried and true Linksys...

Recommend a powerful router
Hi. I recently moved myself and my new laptop to the other end of our house and my wifi signal is pathetic and/or intermittent. I am using a Netgear router I've had for ages, which has a theoretical range of 30m. I'm probably 15m and two rooms away from it. Can anyone suggest what brand and other...

Can someone recommend me a good router?
I have used the Linksys wrt54g for many years. Apparently its a G router and its very old and everyone uses an N router. Looking for a router with good range that extends. I see there are routers that are 150mbps, 300mbps, 450mbps and 600mbps and even 900mbps. For someone that would be...

Can you recommend me a router?
Hi, My Uncle recently purchased a new iPad (3rd one). He was asking me how he can get WiFi at his home and I told him that all he needs is a wireless router. In my home, I personally use a Linksys WRT54GH for wireless connectivity. Anybody have experience on what's a nice router I can...

Recommend me a router
I have a D-Link EBR-2310 that did not play well with Vista and does not play well with Win7 either. Constant loss of browser connection but other connections remain working and just plain unreliable in all aspects. I need a wired router and we only have at most 4 PC's connected at a time and this...
