    Drive mapping issue


    Hi,

    I am having a strange issue mapping a drive. I disconnected a mapped drive called \\lei1data1\data and tried mapping a new drive called \\lei1data2\data but it will not map the drive, I receive an error. Everyone else who tries to map the drive gets connected without an issue. If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Is lei1data2 the Computer Name? You may try the IP Address instead of the Computer Name e.g. \\192.168.0.15\data

I want to map drives on a Win 2k server box from the Win 7 box. 1) I cant see a way to match the workgroup name with the other machines on the network. 2) It sees the Win XP laptop but not the 2K server. 3) Suggest the help files be updated :)
