    Temporarily disconnecting.

Hey, I have been disconnecting randomly lately so I decided that maybe to solve this issue is to update my network card so I did, my network card is an Realtek PCie GBE Family Controller V.7.088.0617.2014 I updated it to the latest version which is 7.92.115.2015 and the problem was not resolved. This happens every 20m or so, maybe even less. I forgot to mention that I am wired and there is another wired computer that is connected same version but does not get any problems.

with this one; i would first try the easy thing of power cycling both the modem and router(If you have a separate router). Unplug the power to both of them. Wait about a minute or so. Then plug the modem back in first and let that fully boot. Then plug the router back in and let that fully boot. What doing this will do is basically clear and reset the connections to the router and modem. If this does not solve the issue post back and we can go from there.

I forgot to mention, my Ethernet cable CASE is broken. This image should explain itself, if not the clip is broken.

Well; if the case of the cable is broken; I would definitely get a new cable; as having a broken one could make the cable pop out of its connection on either the modem/router side; or the computer side depending which side thats on. As for it not connecting; I would try doing a ip config/release; wait for it to release the network adapter; then do a ip config/renew to try and get it to renew the ip address.

But every computer has different IP on the network that I am playing on, do I still have to do this?
