Public Network share help & info

How many setup methods are there: Host pc share internet to both local connections at the same time?

    Let's imagine I have 3 pc's running public network.

1x Host pc connects to internet through local connection 0, and share internet only to other pc's through
local connection 1, and local connection 2, ect.

2x client pc (to be selectively internet enabled on the host connection)

I got windows 7 32bit on all pc's, just thought I'd ask, did not realize there could be many possible setup methods.

You will want to use ICS

Unless you have 3 NIC's on your PC then you will have to purchase a switch.

This is where i will recommend that you purchase a router then connect all the PC's to the router.
(with a router all 3 pcs will have a private address and be able to communicate easily.)

Thank U. I do have enought NIC's on the that host pc.

I attemted to setup ICS and thats where it dont have a setting to share to all outgoing connections local 1 and local 2, ect.

Have a method but it's not very effective: Is to disconnect internet connection and intermittently share too eiter local 1 or local 2...ect. And then enabling internet again... by this time one can simply get used to this method, then its 'manual switching'...

Yes a hardware switch was the alternate solution, there should be an software solution for the same result.

The only way to hook all the pcs up all the time would be to get a switch, or a router.

I will still suggest you get a router. Then each pc can be plugged into the router and be on the private network at all times.
