can't access computer shares from android phones

hey there,

When at home, I often access content stored on my computer from my android devices via shares I created on my windows 7 (32bit) computer.
I created a user account on my computer and used it to access my shares with ES File Explorer App on my tablet and phone.

all this worked very well for a very long time until one day all of the sudden it didn't and I have no idea why, one moment I was viewing files on my tablet and while working I couldn't anymore. my computer even won't show up in the app or in any other for that matter.

Even though I hadn't changed any setting (as mention it stopped working while I was using my tablet)- I reviewed all of them again and made sure all my services where running- even rebooted my computer.

I tried accessing my computer from other windows computers and it was able to discover it and access it as normally, but from my mobile devices (three different ones all running android) I have failed.

why is my computer discriminating my android devices?

Well I finally figured out that my problem is my firewall. I use Comodo firewall- and for some reason it blocked my devices. I realized it is the problem when I temporarily turned it off to troubleshoot my problem- I guess it auto-updated while I was working. Now I can't understand what rule is blocking my devices and why (or how) it differentiates between my android devices and other windows computers.

Any ideas? This Comodo firewall became too complex for me to handle..
