Internet connexion problems using Ethernet and wifi, not activating

    Hello Everyone,

I have an Acer laptop with Windows 7 installed on it. As it's been 5-6 years since i got the laptop, it has gotten really slow, so i decided to do a mass uninstalling wave and it really got faster! But the isue is I don't know why, after that, my ethernet connection says Active and the cable is plugged in as always but I have no access to Internet, and worse, the Wifi is disactivated, and when I try to activate it the screen turns blue and the laptop restarts.

I prefer a slow laptop to a internetless laptop haha,

    Thanks for your help

The blue screen you are getting is called "Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)" and there is a dedicated section for it in the forums.

In the meantime, while connected via CAT5 (or better) to your network, from an elevated command prompt run ipconfig /all and post your results
