Wireless Network Connection Doesn't Have Valid IP Confi

Hello Gabi,
Ive had this problem and i figured how to solve it. If you have tryed to portforward on your router remove the gaming application.
On your routers gateway go to Connections and find your computer by IP or Name.
Delete your computer off the list and on your Windows7 PC connect again with your password if or not.

I am having the exact same problem. My computer will not work on our network, but it works with my buddy's computer (he is running windows 7 too....). We have a belkin router Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The network I am trying to connect to is "Belkin38A3"

I found the answer by a lady on this forum yesterday but can't find it again. I am most grateful to her for solving a problem I've had for over 2 years...namely having to reset my router every morning before my laptop would connect to the internet.
Here it is; so simple: Click on the internet access button on the task bar...Right click on your Wireless Network Connection and choose 'Properties'...Choose the Connection tab...Check the box for Connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name (SSID)
