Router and NAS show as computers on network

In the network map, the NAS shows as a computer, while the Router shows as a router, but also as a computer that can't be placed in the network. Also, the router shows model #, not SSID.

In explorer, when I view the network, both show up as computers, as well as router (infrastructure, but different icon from map, with the model name) and NAS (storage, but with text file icon).

Although this seems to have no negative impact on the network, at least that I'm aware of, I am curious about whether this is normal or not. I've gone through a bunch of different tutorials and similar threads, but none seem to have this particular issue.

    Just guessing here :)

DHCP (and perhaps DNS) server of router makes the network believe it is a server, hence a computer?

Bumping this in case someone with an answer didn't see it.

RE: GokAy - doesn't explain why it sees them as both.
