    Need Networking Help

I have 2 computers at home, a desktop and a laptop. Both are running Windows 7 Home Premium.

The Desktop is connected to a wireless router by a cable. The Laptop connects to the same router via wireless. Both have Internet access via the router.

I would like to be able to share some things between the two such as certain files and a printer, so have been using the Windows Networking and Sharing Center to attempt to make this happen.

The problem is that neither computer can "see" the other even though both show to have joined a homegroup and are connected via the same router.

Obviously I am quite uninformed about this aspect of computer usage, so would greatly appreciate advice from those in the know that will enable me to complete this task.

    Thx,
    C.

AHA! I thought they were the same but upon re-examination found a slight difference.

    Many Thanks
