    How do i DMZ

So i picked the decision of DMZing because some ports wouldn't open by port forwarding. The router is a brand made by the ISP called Compal or CPM. Any help on how i can DMZ. I went to the options and picked DMZ and put my computer IP but still no success. Any help guys?

Laith, for what are you trying to open ports for? Which ports? DMZ'ing your PC isn't a very wise thing if you ask me :)

I know it isn't a wise thing but i've tried portforwarding a port and it wouldnt work so i decided to DMZ. My internet has enough protection to defend itself. The port is 7777(it is for a game)

Terraria? How do you know port forwarding is not working? How are you testing it? Any firewalls on your PC? Is the game running when you try?

Heh, yup Terraria. It did work before at my old house but here at my new house port forwarding isn't working at all. My friends could join and portchecker.co says it was open on the old house. In the new house none of my friends could join and portchecker says it is closed. Also something worth to mention that one of my friends could join and i think he port fowarded 7777. Weird.

A new ISP or still using the old one? Did you call ISP and ask whether they have the ports closed? Some ISPs charge extra for open port subscriptions. Also, are you getting a proper Internet IP on router WAN interface?

Possible to connect directly to modem or set router bit to bridge mode?
