Internet problems disconnecting or very slow, 50% to 100% packet loss
I've been having this very weird connection issue with my PC. It seems like almost every 5 minutes my connection is disrupted and just disconnects, and to fix it I have to re-plug in my wireless adapter (USB). I know it's not the adapter because I just bought this one five days ago (NETGEAR N600). Now the weird thing is, sometimes I can't load webpages but I get messages through Steam, Skype, etc. This is only happening to my PC and none of the other devices in my house. I tried flashing my PC's BIOS, to no avail. I don't get any useful information from Wireshark. I ran tracert and it's hopping correctly as well.
I checked the wireless map, and it goes like this:
My PC -> TERMINUS (router icon) -> Switch -> TERMINUS (PC icon) -> Internet
I don't know if it's normal or not to go to my router (TERMINUS) twice or what.
Sometimes, I can't actually tell if the connection disconnects or is just very slow. Sometimes it seems like it bumps up to 2000ms, then gives me about 20 request timed out, then it loads once more at a normal 30ms.
I can connect to 192.168.1.10 fine (my router's internal), and I get a normal <1ms.
I also get this in event viewer very frequently in System. It shows up every 2 notifications in there:
Name resolution for the name (name) timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
