    Yahoo-can create new account(error-999)

Hey,I tried to sign up to answers.yahoo.com but as the website says ,I'm temporary unable to create a new account.
    It says something like

"You may want to scan your system for spyware and viruses...
This problem may be due to unusual network activity coming from your Internet Service Provider..."

Is there any way to fix the problem?

The only thing that ever worked for me in the past was to wait 24-48 hours and try again.
Now you know one more reason why I switched to Mail.com and dumped Yahell after 15 years.

Thanks for the reply! What about my network activity? It says, that unusual network activity comes from my internet service, what does it mean?

From my experience, Yahoo is reading a lot of activity from your present IP address.
Depending on how you connect to the internet, powering down your router or modem, waiting a few minutes, and rebooting it could give you a new IP address. That's how it works with my PPPoE DSL account, anyway. Cable internet service IP addresses are usually static (=not changeable).

This may or may not have something to do with your Yahoo problem.

    Take a read.
