Acer Drivers can be a tad tricky to Install ....
When you Download the Driver copy the whole Folder to your Flash Driver ...
Then place the Folder on your Desktop ...
Double click on it it will expand a lof of Files ...
Scroll down to you see Setup Application ...
There are quite a few of these Files .. So just keep selecting each one until it says Setup EXE ...
Thanks for the help.
I may be missing something obvious but...
The exe download needs to run on the target machine.
I can't see how to get to the individual driver files via that link.
I've attached a shot of the network controller, seems that doesn't
have anything as yet.
Again, thanks for your time!

Just a quick bump to the top,
I'll only do it once
Very sorry I did read your Post but had to go out at that time ... And to be honest forgot all about it ...
On the Screenshot you Posted for the Network Controller Property's...
Can you go to the Details Tab ... And Post any info you see there ....
I can not give you a Direct Link to the Drivers page as Acer Website does not permit that ...
As for Downloading the Drivers go to the Acer Website ..
Click on Notebook Aspire then scroll down to your Model Number ...
As for Installing the Drivers it is not actually an Exe File its an Application ...
And it does work when transferred to other Computers ...
Tell me where you are getting stuck when you try it again please ...
If so, I had the same laptop, same problem...
Had to take the laptop to bits to find out the make and model of the wireless chip.....
Good news, you can download the driver here:
Atheros WB335 WLAN Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Windows 8.1 (64-bit) - Lenovo B50-30, B50-30 Touch, B50-35 - US
You're Welcome.
