IPv6 Ready Routers

I'm currently using:
DIR-615 - Wireless b/g/n Router
. IPv6 supported in some models. Hardware revision C with firmware 3.01 supports IPv6 both natively and with tunnels (including 6-in-4 static).

should I upgrade router firmware to support new ip6 protocol
Should I upgrade the firmware of my netgear wndr3700 router so it will now support ip6 protocol instead of ip4. The update in in netgears website. The support for my router has expires so I would need to pay for support if there any problems. The netgear wndr3700 works perfectly right now...
