Internet will not load homepage of networks that require sign ins

Hello, sorry if I am in the wrong forum, I have a Windows 7 Dell computer. I have been trying to use wifi networks like McDonald's to do my homework. My internet will connect me and shows connected, but will not load the sign in page on a browser so I can complete my sign in. Not sure if this is a internet problem or a browser problem. Would really appreciate any help. Thank you.

If your using public hotspots like McDonalds, its their firewall thats stopping you,
Nothing you can do about it.

As Cyclops suggested, disable firewall as a test. Also when you connect next time in cmd:
    Code:
    Ping 8.8.8.8
See if it will reply back. And then:
    Code:
    Ipconfig -all>>"%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt"
    Paste the results here.
