How to log into WiFi after changing SSID login password.

After changing the SSID login password in my router, my laptop can't connect and it doesn't ask me to enter a new password. How can I login?

Forget the connection and create a new "profile" for it by connecting to it again after, as if it is a new connection.

This worked for my W8.1 laptop.

On my W7 pro laptop I [R-clicked] & changed the password in properties.

hi i have strange issue.. one specific wifi ssid is not shown/visible in the list of available networks in windows 7. i have tried manually creating a profile for this netowrk . which is boadcasiting its ssid. and it is 802.1x based authentication. earlier i was able to use the same network....

I hope the title made a little sense. We currently have 5 - 20 laptops on location depending on the day. There are around 10 signals in the area including our two, which isn't insane considering 15+ signals in an apt building isn't unusual and rarely causes conflict. This is in a two story...

I have an access point created using the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter (using an Alfa 1w usb wifi adapter and and I am wondering if it is possible to not broadcast the SSID? How would I go about doing that?
