I'm very happy to hear it Brad!

I was actually preparing to dish out more steps you might be able to try and resolve your connectivity difficulties and spent most of my day testing and verifying steps to make sure everything is working and coming out with test procedures to assist you with your connectivity.

    Cheers

    Hi Brad and Nigel,

With your encouragements, the tutorial has been posted here. Thank you
Shawn adjusted the formatting and feel so, it now looks great!

Note: There are some considerations/issues to make RDC work for W7 to Vista, W7 to XP and vice versa. Just let me know if you encounter any difficulties.

Please install Remote Desktop Connection (Terminal Services Client 6.0) for Windows XP (KB925876)

This version of Remote Desktop Connection can be installed on client computers running Windows XP Service Pack 2. It can be used to connect to remote desktops running earlier versions of Windows, but the new features are available only when the remote computer is running Windows Vista.

Note: You cannot use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Basic N, or Windows Vista Home Premium, and you can only create outgoing connections from those editions of Windows Vista. If incidentally, you're trying to connect to one of these, let me know and I'll provide the workaround
