Website blocked in Hosts shows IIS page..

    hi there,

I blocked a bunch of sites via HOSTS file, everything seems to work fine, just a question, why when I try one of those sites I get the IIS page? is that because ive installed the SEO toolkit with the IIS Manager thing on my win 7?

    thanks,
    Gab

A website is blocked by assigning the loopback address (127.0.0.1 meaning the local computer) to that url. On most systems there is no web server installed so nothing is displayed. Of course if IIS is installed then that is not the case. What you are seeing would seem to be normal.
