Network adapter doesn't detect ?wlan networks anymore?

Hello! I have a problem that my Wireless Network adapter doesn't recognize my phones shared wlan anymore, it worked few days ago perfectly?

Im sharing internet from my phone.
Network adapter is: Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network adapter

I have installed and re installed the drivers for the adapter.
There is a litle red x in the internet connection settings.

Edit: It says no wireless connections available when there actually is?

First thing I would try is right click on your wireless adapter (as seen in your pic) and select Diagnose, Give it a few mints to do its thing and see if it works. If this does not work scroll down to try something else.

If that does not work try this

Right click on your wireless adapter again but this time select properties and click on the Driver tab and then click on rollback

The option to roll back drivers is grayed out
It also gets very hot sometimes?
Could there be any windows settings wrong?

You said your Network adapter is: Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network adapter to me that says what the chipset is, who actually made the adapter post the name on the box or on the card and we can look for the manufacturer's web site for the drivers.

       Tip
Searching for network card drivers or any card, usb, audio, video - When you search google for it
I always add support to my search
    (eg)

    support tp-link tl-wn821n

I find that that helps to weed out most of the scammy sites from the top of the list If you add drivers to your search instead of support you will probably get the less than reputable sites at the top

Since the issue is only a few days old perhaps you can System Restore to a date prior to the issue? System Restore
