    PC trying to join Homegroup on same PC

    I have two PCs, and am trying to get PC1 to join the Homegroup on PC2. PC1 says "Username on PC1 has created a homegroup on the network" with an option to Join Now. PC1 is trying to join the homegroup on PC1.

    When I go to Control Panel > Homegroup, my options are:
    * Tell me more about homegroups
    * Change advanced sharing settings...
    * Start the HomeGroup troubleshooter

    I do not have an option to leave the Homegroup.

    I deleted the files at C:\windows\serviceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking and stopped the HomeGroup Provider service, but no luck.

    Any ideas on how to get out of this?

    Should have tried this as I had seen it referenced in other posts... removing the Homegroup from PC2 and the files from C:\windows\serviceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking, and then restarting, allowed me to recreate the Homegroup on both PCs.
