    Extending my Wi-fi signal


    I'm using a Plusnet Wireless 2951EB router and would like to extend the signal. Have been reading about Homeplug AV, is this what I need ?

    That is a Powerline adapter, not a wireless range extender / booster.

    Google shows lots of options: extend wireless range in house

    Wifi


    Have a look at your Wifi and Router specs and see if they are 5ghz compatible, if they are change to it, has a better range capability.
    see screenshot for wifi. for your router enter 192.168.0.1, in your browser to get to router setting, password will more than likely be Admin, change it.

    note if you have any other comps check them as well for 5ghz, they have to be the same,
