Laptop Keeps Connecting To Unsecured Wifi Network?

I have my own modem/router. So i connect to it via ethernet so wired connection. Sometimes i would use it on wifi. However recently a new internet wifi connection has shown up in my wifi connections and my computer keeps trying to connect to it. Im not sure 100 percent if it has or not but many times it would say limited access etc. I have no clue why it does this.

Is there a way to delete this wifi network along with a few other ones near me? I have my own internet connection thus i only use it only. I checked online and went to network connections but for some reason don't see this internet connection at all. How is that the case?

When i check my wifi connections, it shows it all the way at the bottom along with a yellow exclamation point. I have no idea why my laptop keeps trying to connect to it. I also have tons of issues connecting to my main internet connect because of this. Anyone know why?

What is strange is when i used my iphone to tether to use on my computer... a 3rd internet connection showed up. Does anyone know what in the world this is? I then went to network internet connections and disabled it. It looked like another strange wifi connection. I then enabled it again.

Im very confused why this was happening with my computer.

The yellow exclamation mark means its an unsecured network... meaning you don't need a password to connect to it. Most likely you accidentally tried to connect to it and also selected the option to connect automatically. You can forget this network and make sure you don't connect to it again

Also when i used avast to check home network security, it showed the devices connected to my wifi connection. I saw a different router that is connected to it. Does anyone know how this is possible and why?

Normally only thing connected to my wifi network is my laptop and my iphone. That is all. I dont have anymore devices...

    Forget all networks

If you have any wireless tools (like Intel ProSet etc) either uninstall it or ensure that there are no settings to connect to networks automatically.

I think i have intel proset.. i took a look and yes i do have it. But where is the option for what you are telling me?

So enable intel wifi hotspot assistant

    BUT DON'T CHECK

Automatically connect to free wifi hotspots

Automatically connect to paid wifi hotspots?

The thing is for my wifi connections, the only ones that i want to show up are my wifi connection and 2 other wifi connections in my building and nothing else. If so how do i do this? Also let say i were to go to a starbucks etc. Would that mean the starbucks wifi wont show up? If so, how would i be able to make it show up?
