Homegroups - lost access

I previously had 2 W7 pro/ult PCs with the same usernames and passwords on each PC. I had several folders shared w/access rights etc...

This morning I enabled the homegroup on the 1st PC and had other PCs join. The PC I work on (not the PC where the homegroup started) IS joined on the homegroup but now I can't access folders I previously had access too. I don't have security rights apparently. The folders I mention are NOT part of the homegroups folders (pix/music etc...). They are actually on a 2nd drive which, I assume, is not part of homegroup.

I left the homegroup and now I have access.

do what.
