    Since you can't surf to the top level website using the IP addresses, that rules out DNS problems.

    I found Thayer's e-mail address on a page where he says he has to block spammers. His e-mail address uses the same domain that you cannot reach. It seems that such blocks could also block people from surfing to the domain.

    I contacted Thayer and he indicated that his server does have ISP blocking software. I sent him my IP address and he's looking into it. I'll let you all know what he reports.

    The problem must have been IP blocking software. As I indicated in my previous post, I contacted the website owner and he must have removed my IP address from the blocking table. I can ping the website now and I can display the pages.
