Windows 7: Network location currently not available

Network location currently not available

Windows 7 Ultimate and using Homegroup (both Home or Work)
I set the folder MyFolder as shared, everyone, read and write.
In Explorer I expand the Network tab. MyFolder appears.
If I select it a message appears :
"Network Location currently not available"
Why is that ? It is baffling me ...

New network location
Have some folders on a small hosted website. In XP, was able to shortcut the site and folders and have them appear in the my computer pane. I cannot do that at all in 7 Ultimate, although my FileZilla works fine. What am I missing. Thanks for the help. Joe
