    what's difference between Local Area Connection 100mbs and 1 gbs?


    what's the difeence between LocalAreaConnection 100mbs and 1 gbs???
    I put this question becouse when i test them both with speedtest.net the LocalAreaConnection 100mbs result was--> Download with 91mb/sec and the LocalAreaConnection 1gbs res. was: download 75 mbs so wich is faster?

    Speedtest.net measures the speed of the connection between your local router and a specific internet server, usually within 100 miles though it can be set to use any one of hundreds around the world it has nothing to do with the LAN speed which is that between your device and your local router.

    All things being equal the 1GB is approximately 10 time the speed as a 100MB
