Windows 7: Suddenly can't connect to the router anymore

Suddenly can't connect to the router anymore

My wireless isn't working. Everything was fine until one day when I was in the middle of uploading something. Then it stopped working, and now it refuses to authenticate. Nothing happened to my computer or the router then.
I'm using a TP-Link TL-WN822N USB adapter. Under Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections, the connection is listed as "Attempting to authenticate" when I try to connect.
I've tried using Windows' wireless services and TP-Link's own network manager to remove the connection and start over, and whenever I do that, it says the password is mismatched.
This is definitely NOT a problem with the router. All my housemates' computers (and even my phone) work fine with the router, and my PC can even connect to my phone if I turn on wireless hotspot. I reset the router and modem multiple times anyway.

You need to go to the "Change adapter settings" on the left panel.

There will be 2 main connection; Local Area Connection & Wireless Connection.
Ignore the others.

Select and click on each and right-click, do click on "Disable" for both.

Now, which will you want to connect, LAN or Wireless.

If you want to use Wireless, select the Wireless Connection and right-click on Enable.
From here, it takes a few seconds to connect.

Do note that it only allow either one of them as enable.
Should at anytime it happen again, do the same.

Attempting to authenticate means
Either somethings screwed up the ssid setting, or the password.
Does your network appear if you click on the signal bars,
Yes, (with correct ssid)
right click signal bars select your network
Network settings >> manage wireless settings >> tick the check the connect automatically option, and then >> security >> check your password type and password.
