win7 pro x64
connecting to workplace network

win7 pro x64 two pcs, winxp pro sp3 one pc, all conn to trendnet731 wap with wired connections to ports (not wireless).
not using homegroup. all three pcs use workgroup. using workplace connection.

I need to be able to copy files between winxppc and both w7pcs.

one w7pc can access wxppc using win explorer, one w7pc cannot. both w7pcs access each other, all 3 have internet access.
so far, only diff I see in setups of w7pcs is:
w7pc that can connect to wxppc: active home/work network is called trendnet731.
w7pc that can't connect to wxppc: active home/work network is called network 4.

don't know for sure, but hoping if I can get w7pc #1 to use network trendnet731 instead of network 4 it might solve my problem. but How do I get w7pc #1 to use network name trendnet731?
any ideas? thanks, tom
